The Jaguar V12 has been widely used in many other applications, as power to many "replica" cars as well as some beautiful original creations.

Dax of Harlow in Essex have been producing, for some time now, a beautiful re-creation of the 427 Cobra utilising the Jaguar V12 running gear. Steve's beautiful example can be seen below:

Panther was formed by Robert Jankel in the early 70's and made a re-creation of the SS100 using both Jaguar 6 cylinder and V12 applications. Panther were also responsible for the infamour De-Ville which was loosely based on the Bugatti Royale, powered solely by a fuel injection V12.

Ronart make hand built cars to order powered by both the XK 6 cylinder and V12 Jaguar units. These really are fantastic hand crafted composite bodied cars. Designed by Arthur Wolstenholme also famed for the revival of the Vanwall name (see below).

Vanwall is another piece of magic from Arthur Wolstenholme. The revival of the make was introduced to the market in 2003 and is a thing of sheer beauty, hand crafted in aluminium.

Outside of the realm of automobiles the V12 engine has also been used in aviation, an example is Clive DuCros' V12 powered Spitfire replica, built in the 80's. The engine was prepared by Ron Beaty's Forward Engineering
